Matt McGee is an underwater photographer based in Franklin, TN. He has photographed both macro and wide angle subjects in the oceans throughout the world. From schooling hammerhead sharks in Cocos Island, Costa Rica, to blue ringed octopus in the Lembeh Strait in Indonesia, Matt has encountered and photographed some of the world's most beautiful and elusive underwater creatures. Additionally, he has photographed models underwater to create ethereal fine art images. He lives with his wife and 2 children in Franklin, TN, a suburb of Nashville. Matt shoots a canon 5D with Canon L series lenses, in an Ikelite housing. His dive gear consists of ScubaPro regulators, and Henderson wetsuits. When not photographing the underwater world, he can be found caring for people's teeth, or photographing cold climate landscapes.
